Verizon store in Sydney is open after fire – Australian ABC

SAN FRANCISCO — A fire at a Verizon store on Wednesday morning has forced its closure, the company said in a statement.

The fire was reported just before 8:00am local time at the company’s headquarters in Sydney’s inner west, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

“At this time, there is no immediate risk to our customers,” the company added.

Verizon stores have been closed in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne since January after a fire that destroyed an entire building.
