You can’t get an online appointment with the Hawaii Department of Motor Vehicles.
The online system is a hassle, but if you want to get to the DMV, you need to call the state’s phone number at 866-662-4200.
It’s an hour-long process.
If you want an appointment online, you’ll have to do it at the DMV.
The Hawaii DMV does offer online appointments for customers who have a driver’s license but don’t have a vehicle registration.
If that’s not the case, the DMV also has an app for people who don’t own a vehicle.
Here are the steps for getting an appointment: Call the Hawaii state line.
You can do that online at the state line, but the line is not staffed at the moment.
You’ll need to speak to a supervisor in person.
If there is no supervisor at the line, ask for someone to help you.
You may need to talk to a customer service agent in person, or call the number listed on the website, which is located at: 866.662.4200, or by calling toll free: 1-888-252-7678.
Once you’ve called, the line will tell you what time the appointment is scheduled to be.
The person handling the call will then call you and give you instructions.
You need to make a reservation.
Once the reservation is made, the reservation agent will call you back.
Make sure the appointment you’ve scheduled is still available.
Wait at the appointment desk for at least 30 minutes.
You should arrive by 5:30 p.m.
If your appointment is not available, you can also email the DMV and ask for a second appointment, and then wait 30 minutes in the office until the second appointment is available.
The DMV will also send you an appointment receipt.
The first appointment is $5 and the second is $15.
You have to bring the receipt to the appointment and give it to the clerk.
If the clerk has no record of your receipt, you must pay the $5 reservation fee or the second session will not take place.
The state will then refund you your deposit, but it will be deducted from your refund.
If a second session is not possible, you may have to pay a $25 fee to have it cancelled.
The clerk will also ask you to sign a waiver.
You don’t need to sign it, but you may need it if you need an appointment again in the future.
The $25 refund is a little confusing, but they tell you that it’s supposed to be good for three years, but your first appointment could be cancelled at any time.
If this happens, you will need to go to the next appointment.
The second session starts at 6 p.d. and lasts about an hour.
You must wait for your first visit to the office, and if you don’t show up for the second time, you won’t be allowed to get another appointment.
You will also need to show up at least five days in advance to make your reservation.
After your first session, you are required to come back the next day to make another appointment, or you will lose your deposit.
The next appointment is 6:30 a.m., and lasts for one hour.
There are no set times for these sessions.
You also don’t get to bring your car to the appointments.
There’s no charge for bringing a vehicle, but some cars have special registration tags that require you to bring them.
You won’t need a registration tag, though.
To make an appointment, you have to show a valid ID.
If all else fails, you’re welcome to bring someone else with you, but there are no volunteers.
This is not the easiest job in the world, and it’s also one that’s a little on the frustrating side.
If anyone in your family is interested in getting a driver license in Hawaii, you should probably ask your family member or someone close to you about it.
But, if you’re in Hawaii and looking to get a driver permit, you might want to make sure you’ve got the right ID.
